Alex Arriaga has served in executive leadership positions at
​The White House, the U.S. Congress, and with top non-profit organizations.  She has successfully advanced international human rights issues, created large-scale public education campaigns, and achieved legislative victories.  She is a proven leader and strategist with a track record of success in local, national and global arenas.  Alex's specialties include international human rights, humanitarian assistance, gender and gender-based violence, rights of persons with disabilities, rights of children, and policy development and implementation.  She has made lasting contributions by developing and managing legislative and policy initiatives that have become law and led to institutional reforms that enhance U.S. efforts for human rights globally.

Prior to joining Strategy for Humanity, Charles J. Brown served as a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Undersecretary for Policy in the U.S. Department of Defense, where he was responsible for implementing the DoD components of the President's initiative to integrate atrocity prevention and response into U.S. policy.  In recent years, Charlie has also served as Chair of the Experts Committee on Preventing Mass Violence, a bipartisan group of sixteen former government officials, academics, think tank experts, and NGO representatives convened by the Prevention and Protection Working Group.  Charlie's specialties include atrocity prevention, international justice, human rights, democracy, international humanitarian law, crisis response, foreign policy, diplomacy, social media, NGOs and non-profit management.​ Read More

Ben Batros is a Director at Strategy for Humanity and a respected litigator who has excelled at using law as a tool for accountability and social change.  He has experience leading litigation strategies for civil society, at international tribunals, and in government.  As a Director at Strategy for Humanity, he specializes in human rights, international criminal law, and identifying the optimal use of legal mechanisms in broader strategies.  Prior to joining the firm, Ben focused on strategic litigation at the Justice Initiative of the Open Society Foundation, managing a portfolio of sixty cases and directing a summer school on strategic human rights litigation.  He also spent five years as Appeals Counsel for the International Criminal Court (ICC), Office of the Prosecutor; and he previously advised the Australian Government on its ratification and implementation of the ICC Statute as well as on regional strategies to address people smuggling and trafficking in persons. Sapna Chhatpar Considine is a Director at Strategy for Humanity where she heads up our New York operations and is a key lead on the multilateral portfolio.  Her areas of expertise include United Nations processes and structures, atrocity prevention, responsibility to protect, civilians in conflict, human rights and humanitarian crises, and peacebuilding and sustaining peace.  Sapna began her career 20 years ago working at the grassroots level to mobilize students, policy makers and the general public to support democratic freedoms in Burma. Prior to joining Strategy for Humanity, Sapna served as the co-founder and Program Director of the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP), a global coalition of civil society organizations working to prevent genocide and mass atrocities.  Read More
Will Ferroggiaro is a Director at Strategy for Humanity where he specializes in the areas of democracy, human rights and governance.  His specialization is on freedom of expression, conflict prevention, and citizen participation and he has written extensively on the topic of hate speech, especially in the context of armed conflicts, electoral politics, and rising nationalism.  Prior to joining Strategy for Humanity, Will was an expert consultant to ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and led research projects and managed policy teams for Internews, the Fund for Peace, and the National Security Archive.  He has also contributed to training and other initiatives at the U.S. Department of State's Foreign Service Institute, the United States Agency for International Development, the World Bank Group, and other public and private institutions.    Read More

Joanne Kelsey has more than 20 years of experience collaborating with government officials, NGOs, and Congress to improve the lives of refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants living in the United States.  She is also a nationally recognized expert on the issues surrounding stateless individuals.  Jooanne has held leadership positions at the Women’s Refugee Commission, Lutheran Immigration Refugee Service and the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.  Joanne also specializes in monitoring and improving detention conditions and expanding release policies for asylum-seekers and other vulnerable populations in detention​.  Read More ​
Francesca Molinaro has more than 20 years of experience conducting organizational assessments, leading strategic planning, designing training programs, supporting organizational change and designing and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives. Ann Marie Brockhouse joined Strategy for Humanity in 2015, serving as Special Assistant. She has over two decades of management experience focusing on customer service, process improvement, personnel development, travel planning, organizational structure and financial growth. AnnMarie brings extensive expertise in operations, administration, and organizational development, specializing in the development and execution of organizational policies and procedures.
Beth Davidson has over a decade of professional experience in digital marketing, web and graphic design, social media strategy, project management, email marketing, and general marketing.  Her marketing and communications skills also include Search Engine Optimization, content writing, and messaging management.  Prior to working with Strategy for Humanity, Beth worked in a variety of influential settings, ranging from higher education institutions, state entities, private sector enterprises, and local businesses. ​
Alex Pradier provides accounting services to Strategy for Humanity.  In her financial and administration career, Alex has contributed her exceptional talents to bolster the work of a broad variety of clients—large and small—that are active in many different sectors, including hospitality, fitness, health, skincare and non-profit organizations. ​
